I saw this scripture this morning that stood out to me and I hope it will bless you today. “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” NIV — God’s grace is with you today to pour down on you when you need it. His great love for you is with you whether you are on a mountain top or in a valley or just in between. His Holy Spirit is alive and well in you to guide you into God’s perfect will for you today. I am believing the words of God today and take comfort in the faithfulness of God. How about you? Joan Courtney, WPI Founder/CEO
God’s great love for you passes all human understanding. Let’s all remember that God is sovereign and in control, however, He awaits our prayers to fulfill HIS plan and bring HIS will from heaven into our lives, community, city and nation. Let’s resist the devil and never give him any credit for when things don’t go our way. Satan is our adversary and is a defeated foe. Greater is HE who is in us than he who is in the world. Take a look at God’s promises: “..Submit to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you.”( James 4:7.) I Peter 5:8-9a says “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith…” Then take a look at God’s promise in 2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord moves to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal to Him.” Friends, He is going before you, He is with you and He has got your back. When we pray, God listens. “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” Psalm 34:17
Whatever is going on in your life that seems beyond hope, think again. God is hearing your prayers and working in the unseen to see you through it and deliver you. It will be ultimately for your good and His glory. Romans 8:28 says “For we know that all things work for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” God is faithful and true to His word and promises. Praise The Lord host Charles Flowers speaks to Joan Courtney from Women’s Prayer International. Joan speaks about the importance of united prayer. Praying for Pastors, churches, our school system, Govt. and the things that will transform society and bring revival. That we would walk in repentance and humility so that people would want to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Be blessed as you listen to this interview.
My love and prayers are with you!!!! Joan
Yesterday as I read some devotions and viewed some sermons I had taped, several things stood out to me; and I invite you to ponder these things with me.
“So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” John 20:21 NKJV. If God is sending me into the world to be His mouthpiece and His vessel to touch unbelievers, then what would God want me to do to reflect Christ in my daily life? Does my daily activities reflect God’s character or mine?
The following list came from Dr. Charles Stanley’s sermon, A Strong Christian Life www.intouch.org. I hope this list helps you, as it does me, to remember that we serve a forever, faithful God who loves us. Yes, He does have a plan to conform us to the image of Christ to use us and fulfill our destiny on this side of heaven. His plan will be for our good and His glory. (Romans 8:28; 11:36).
A STRONG LIFE IN CHRIST – Evidences of a life walking in the Lordship of Christ fully trusting Him.
First, dear friends, let’s fully realize that those statements above are only possible when we intentionally put God first in our lives (Matthew 6:33); die to ourselves and let Christ live through us (Galatians 2:20).
For my personal spiritual evaluation I wanted to share my spiritual journey with you using Dr. Stanley’s list:
Friends, I hope and pray that as I have honestly shared my heart with you that God will help you in your daily journey to press forward with tenacity and perseverance to trust and obey Him as His Holy Spirit guides you. He will fulfill His plan for your life for your ultimate good and His glory. Joan Courtney, WPI Founder/CEO
